Long story short, I completed 5 rounds of interviews for a company and thought everything went well, until there was a week of silence. Later found out that a chunk of the talent acquisition team got laid off that week, including my recruiter. Fast forward to today, a new recruiter reached out to me (after I asked the hiring manager for an update) and said that she would love to hop on a call this week to discuss the role and where they stand now. Does anyone know what this could possibly mean? A job offer, a slight changing of the role due to budget cuts, or just general feedback?
