/jobs do you have any experience working in tele-sales? Looking for advice

Hi guys,
I have been offered a role doing telephone sales for a company. It's a really good opportunity as the company is about to have some serious growth and I'm getting in at the ground level so lots of chance for promotion, commission etc but its 12-18 months of nothing but 9 hours a day making ~300 calls a day before chance to move up and I have never done anything like this before, so I am just looking for people who have done similar work as it sounds pretty potentially soul destroying.
