I applied for a position on one of the many job sites around and got a favorable response from one of my applications. However, before replying, I decided to read into salary negotiating (here) and took the advice of not disclosing salary into my conversation.

The company was offering to interview for multiple positions so I decided to reply to the email with this and the advice regarding salary negotiation in mind and I have not had a reply back in over 2 days. The emails were as follows:

From employer:

Hi Skudgee,

Thank you for your application to join [Company].

Please could you advise your salary expectations and availability to interview via Microsoft Teams?

To employer:

Hi employer,

Thank you for getting back to me so quickly. Can you please clarify which of these positions this interview would be for?

[Job 1]

or

[Job 2]

I look forward to hearing back from you soon.

From employer:

Hi Skudgee,

We would interview with both positions in mind, however [Job 2] is more senior/has more responsibility.

It would also depends on your salary expectations as they have different bandings.

To employer:

Hi employer,

Thank you for clarifying.

Regarding my salary expectations, I would like to get a better understanding about the positions and the duties involved, and what the team I would be working with is like, before discussing money. But may I ask what salary range you’re considering for these positions?

For the interview via Microsoft Teams I am available any day this week between 12PM and 5PM? If these times are not suitable, please let me know what availability you have.

This was the last email in the chain and I have not heard back in over 2 days, I am not sure now if I have blown my chance with the employer based on my stern stance regarding salary disclosure. Is there any way I could possibly recover this by sending up a follow up email?

TL;DR: Applied for job, got a response asking availability and salary expectations. Before replying, read into salary negotiation advice and decided not to disclose any figure but asked the salary range. Have not heard back in over 2 days and want to know if it's recoverable
