Are Companies Drug Testing (for THC) Still?

Post Body

A little background, I got hired as a consultant (started as a trainee, but now I am a technical consultant with a healthcare company) and in the contract they stated I would be drug tested around week 11 of the 12-week training program (which ended around the 4th of July). I have been working as a contractor for a little over a month now and there has no mention of drug testing since I signed the contract & my work has all been completely remote (I'm in data analytics).

I would love to restart my self-care routine that I had to stop when I got the offer last April (which involved Delta-8 THC for anxiety & depression), but am worried that I will be randomly drug tested still. Has anybody had an experience like this, especially during COVID? Are companies even drug testing remote employees?
