Currently I'm applying to be an operations manager at my current company. I meet all the qualifications and been a supervisor going on 2 years now. My question is what do I need to do to be prepared for taking on a manager position? Are classes or courses recommended to better prepare myself for the role or would that be a waste of time/money? When I promoted up to supervisory level I didn't feel like it was much different at all from my curre t position at the time, only thing different were learning the duties of my position and leading others. I supervised a small site of about 4-5 employees and then took on multiple sites. I mainly focus on scheduling, training and any disciplinary actions. Any and all advise is welcomed.
