I'm a single mother who has PTSD and massive anxiety in general. I work as a site security supervisor at the moment but my pay raise shoved me right off the welfare cliff and now we have barely enough money to live off and I'm losing my medicaid. I need regular hours that correspond with regular child care hours, and generally a day-to-day routine. I can't do fast paid high pressure environment. I have a background in computers from the military, but that was over 10 years ago. I've worked Security, call centers, administration and as a bus driver (I can't keep my medical certification anymore). We don't need much. I'm hoping to find something around $15 an hour, with reasonably priced medical benefits.
Nearly every job posting lists a high paced environment and flexible work hours. I can't do those. I don't have the experience for the secretary or receptionist jobs that pay enough, and I don't know what my computer knowledge qualifies me for. I'm at a loss. If anyone could give me guidance I'd appreciate it.
