Ok so over the last year my career has been a bit bumpy. I had a job as a school guidance counsellor I loved but it didn't earn much money, I got head hunted for an IT role which was double my salary and although wasn't the type of role I had worked before (I have training on a database system and that's what they wanted me to do) I was drawn to the appeal of more money and international travel. It turned out this role was not for me but I fell pregnant and ended up sticking it out for the duration of my pregnancy but resigned before my daughter was born due to the fact they wanted me to move abroad and the workplace was just too hostile to want to stay. Now I am claiming government maternity allowance and have till December to find a job. I had an interview yesterday and just got offered the role. It is close to home, makes good money and similar to my old guidance job but is only a year long contract and very target driven. But Also my old job that I loved just came on the market, they are doing interviews in a weeks time, this job has school holidays which would suit my lifestyle better and although there is less money and a commute I know it's something I love doing. What do I do?
