I'm about to go to college, and I have no idea what I want to major in, what jobs I should- or even want to- be looking into. I'm not even sure what skills or qualifications I have that are applicable to any jobs I could feasibly get in the future.
I really like dancing, I'm a pretty fast speed reader, know quite a bit about international politics, cosmetics, US politics, cooking Mexican food, taking care of babies, and space.
I tend to be inventive, and have always sort of been everyone's go to 'idea girl' for any class project I'm a part of.
I speak French in a limited working proficiency, and speak enough Japanese and German to survive on a vacation.
I like history and anthropology- especially when it comes to cultural stuff. Not too interested in the 19th and 20th centuries though. Mostly interested in the present day, and ancient history.
I like improv acting, though I'm not really into scripted acting. I've done some theme park work playing different characters.
Worldbuilding is a huge hobby of mine. I love crafting my own worlds and have spent hours on end working to create the most realistic cultures I can for the different societies in my worlds. It's a lot of fun, and a lot of people have enjoyed reading about the worlds I've invented! Though- the only job I believe that has any real application in is writing books. And that's not something I'm too interested in. Worldbuilding is what I go to when I get tired of real world cultures.
And that's about all I can think of that I'm good at.
Mathematics is not a strong point of mine. I also get overwhelmed easily, and could not work in high stress field like being a doctor or firefighter.
I know a lot of this probably isn't applicable to much at all, but I figured it's best to list everything. I figure the French is probably my most useful skill though, right? Could help if my future career somehow involves the Francophone areas of Africa or Europe.
