Different Industry Recruiter Reached Out to Me.

So I have been moping about my current job and I had someone reach out to me about a software analyst role that is adjacent in use to my current industry. I also write scripts in Python and Powershell in addition to my current industry experience. Has anyone had experience people reaching out from an adjacent industry to pull you to a new industry? I check and it is a legit company, it just surprised me. It also was not Indeeds suggestions but an internal recruiter with the company.
