New job isn’t giving me many hours

Post Body

So I (f18) just started my first job so I don’t have much experience. it’s as a waitress at a small restaurant and it was a advertised as part time but at the interview it sounded like they would be looking more for 3-4 days a week which is perfect for me as I’m on my summer holidays so I don’t have much to do and I need the money. I got my rota for next week a couple of days ago and other then my first day which is this week I have no shifts at all next week. Do you think they’re just starting me off slow or something or should I tell them I was expecting more hours? It’s just that if they’re only looking for one day a week I need to find a different job. the other new person they hired got two shifts next week.
