Hey everyone, I need some advice! I recently accepted a job in healthcare food service because I've been out of work for almost a year. It's not what I want to do in the long run (admissions coordinator in healthcare administration is more my speed!), but financially it was the best option at the time. Guess what? I just got contacted by a place for an admissions coordinator interview! The good news is, the pay and benefits are practically the same between the two jobs, with the admissions coordinator position offering a dollar less per hour. The problem is, training for the food service job starts tomorrow. Should I be upfront with them and explain the situation? Or should I focus on the food service job for now and keep applying for admissions coordinator roles? The admissions coordinator position is much closer too. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
