I’m currently in school finishing up my Associate’s in Sociology (I will be graduating in August 2024, then transferring schools go pursue a Bachelor’s in the fall). I work as a daycare teacher now but really want to move into Social Work/Social Services/non profit/youth crisis adjacent work.
I’ve applied to 43 jobs on indeed and have called all of them—as well as gone on their website to find a way to email them as well with no luck. Is there something I’m missing?
My therapist mentioned to me that you don’t necessarily need a degree to be a Case Aide/Case Manager/Residential Assistant (but I’m wondering since she’s Gen X if that’s even applicable anymore?
Are there any avenues I’m missing ? Should I emphasize my graduate date in my resume?
Thank you in advance
