Good afternoon. Hoping this is a good sub to ask these question.
I just got a call back for an interview as Branch Director at the new local Boys & Girls Club opening up in my nearby town. I’m feeling super nervous as the B&GC holds a very special place in my heart as they were important to me middle and high school and helped keep me sane during that time. I do feel quite confident about it at the same time and feel as though I can get it.
But I’m still seeking general advice. Anyone else been in similar positions or the same position? What should I actually expect? What kind of questions should I expect to be asked there?
Some background on me career wise - I have 6 years of retail experience at Walmart doing almost every job in the store. I also have 8 years experience in a factory, including customer service department there, and most recently (4 months now) I’m the safety manager.
I attended B&GC for 7 years of my schooling career. Do you think it’ll help me to mention truly how important the organization is to me?
