As an active jobseeker, I see about far more,
"Haha haha!, go engage in self pleasuring acts" euphemised as "You're awesome, but not our firm" s
than I care to admit in a week. And I apply to a hundred more. Self respect - what's that?
But when the engineer who wrote it, the reviewer who passed it, the PM who invented metrics to measure the empathy score of this language, the recruiter who determined that I am not worth 30 second of their time, collectively spend less time on an application, why even masquerade as an empathetic company.
Obviously though, if they spent the extra time on this, the fruit juice imported from Fiji, sitting in the min fridge closest to them might run out.
Or just in the minuscule chance that the recruiter is actually called no reply, idk what I'd do if my parents hated me that much! may I suggest r/AskALawyer?
