My brother is a really smart man. He’s been a welder/fabrication expert (by experience, no certificate) for the last 20 ish years. Before that he did maintenance. His company folded and everyone lost their job. He recognizes as his age, he’s going to have to get some basic computer skills or die. He got his GED in the early 90s.
My brother has an iPhone, uses it research his interests, shop, etc. He doesn’t have email, any social media, never used any Microsoft products. He can fabricate things to millimeter specs, design anything he wants to build, but has no idea how to add an attachment or create a pdf.
Is there anywhere he can pick up these skills online for free? YouTube? Khan?
