Post Body

I used to work at a foundry as assistant of production - directly under the operations manager. I changed jobs after 6 months because I recieved a better paying offer in consulting.

But I miss my job in the production plant. I left just 6 months ago. Is it ok if I get in touch with my old boss and ask if the position is still available? I still have a good relationship with him. How do you think he would feel? Given that I know the work, site and people, would he prefer that I come back or could he take it as an offense?
