I'm at a crossroads in my career and could really use some advice from this amazing community. I'm a mechanical engineer who graduated just over a year ago and have been working as a project manager. So far this year, I've made approximately $100,000, which includes overtime pay, double time, and the company reimbursing me for a truck. However, my current job requires a significant amount of travel, and it's been taking a toll on me.

I recently received a job offer for a new project manager position that pays $115,000 with great benefits and requires no travel other than a two-hour daily commute. The new job also operates on a Monday to Thursday schedule, offering me long weekends. I'm really torn about what to do.

On one hand, my current job offers financial rewards and a percentage of the profits from projects, which is a significant incentive. On the other hand, the new job promises better work-life balance and a higher base salary.

I'd love to hear your thoughts and insights. What factors do you think I should consider when making this decision? If you have experience in the field or have been through a similar situation, your advice would be incredibly valuable to me.

I understand the importance of considering both the short-term and long-term implications of this decision, and I'm eager to gather as much information as possible. Thanks in advance for your help, and feel free to share your thoughts or experiences.
