So a co-worker recommended my resume to their spouse for programming (I am working on a certificate for it and then plan on enrolling in CS). I do have a portfolio and have been working to improve. I work in another industry right now but they said that the people at their spouses current job seem a little clueless. What do you think my chances are with a referral? Also it is a contractor for the government if that helps. I also have a personal website I have been working on for marketing purposes for myself.
