I am looking for another job as my company increased the workload by 40%, but did not increase the pay. During our town hall, they said they were sad to see our colleagues go, but did not elaborate which offices were affected. Now in reading a business journal, I noticed they highlighted a move to reduce office space. Now our office is not really used as much as it could be, but in fairness we have two offices and so I thought worse comes to worse we could consolidate. But given that our city is more of a back office city, it makes me wonder if they will shave it to move our jobs to cheaper cities. The only other counter to that is they have a job post on indeed for our position in our city. Which evidence is more compelling in terms of future cuts? Also I am waiting on a decision from another company that actually would boost my pay, unlike this company.
