Someone I care deeply for just got a job with a pretty huge shipping company. I’m extremely happy for them, yet find myself being cautiously excited as well. His job track record hasn’t been the greatest and he’s had 2-4 jobs in under a year. He keeps saying he gets because “he stated people pick on him due to his gender identity (HR never helped him) or they fired him to hire cheaper labor which is very common and not unheard of.
I digress, he’s been under an incredible amount of stress over the last few weeks due to not having a job and needing to be moved out in 5 months and I want to be a source of positivity for him.
I would love it if you guys could tell me some of the best advice you’ve ever received from someone regarding a job or good advice you’ve discovered and are open to sharing on your own.
I want him to go into this job as strong as possible and do it well. He’s worth it!
