Hey everyone! New to this community here! I’m a newly hired intern at a major corp. it’s my first week and I decided to check out an ERG (Employee resource group). Is it appropriate for me to reach out to one of the contact names listed on a website when they happen to be very very high up in the corporate ladder?
I’m very nervous and unsure if this is appropriate since they are bound to be very busy and I don’t want to bother them with simple questions like my interest in the ERG. However, I think this is a fantastic networking opportunity. Should I reach out or find another person instead? Not sure if it’s appropriate for interns to do this.
