I have filed for unemployment. Company says I was fired but has no proof that I did anything wrong (and if they did, I was never made aware of what I did wrong).
When cause has to be proven, what all is meant by that?
I was at my now-previous company for 2 1/2 years and was never written up. Let go by HR Wednesday morning and no reason was provided. Things were VERY slow, especially for my position, but my paperwork says Fired and not Laid Off.
I don’t know what to think about this and am scared that my unemployment will be denied.
