2 weeks ago, i did a successful and great interview with a banking company for a systems administrator position. While i'm fully qualified, the interview went really well, we were supposed to meet for 30 minutes but the interview lasted 1 full hour. The hiring manager mentioned they have a few more interviews before making final decision..... two weeks have passed and i sent an email asking her for a status on the position... their response was:
"I have no further questions right now. My aim is to give you an update before the end of this week."
That was on Tuesday.
Today, i got a notification of a new job posted 3 hours ago on linkedin and low and behold it was this job. While i'm disappointed, its okay, but i would have appreciated some feedback.
I mean, can't win them all.
