Sterling Talent Solutions Background Check

I just received an email from Sterling Talent Solutions with respect to the background check they're doing for me for a new job and they mentioned the following:
"Hi xxxx, I have reciewed the background check and found that only one of the criminal search is in progress...."
What criminal search? Are there multiple criminal searches? (I do not have a criminal record, as far as I am aware of) I note this check is being done after I received, and accepted an offer.
