The dreaded “how much are you looking to make” question.
Post Body

Really need a job so I’m fine taking a big cut in salary. I feel like during interviews I have not yet been able to answer question without sounding desperate.

It’s apparent that I’m over qualified and the salary is below the norm due to my experience and age.

My typical answer is some variation of: I’m fine taking a cut in salary for the experience doing x y z in this position.

Any advice or suggestions?
