TLDR: my cousin and brother may go to Jobcorps and I wanted to see how the Keystone and Red Rock campuses are like and if they should go. If there's anything to know before going to either or if it's just worth going to another campus.
I personally went to San Diego Jobcorps (California) and Oneonta Jobcorps Academy (New York) for advanced training. I personally have no interest in going back since I have a good life here in Pennsylvania after Oneonta and I helped link multiple companies to Oneonta Jobcorps.
But my younger brother, who is a junior in high school, and my younger cousins, a sophomore in high school, don't know yet what they're going to do once they graduate. My cousin is pretty smart and can go to college/university if he really wants to but my brother is both too behind and more of a straight average student with very low motivation.
My cousin calls me and asks if trade school/ Jobcorps would be a better idea than to college/ university. And I tell him that either or are great options but it depends on what you do with either or. Jobcorps is a great option for construction/ trades that don't need degrees.
And now we are in this discussion about them living with me after or during their stay at Jobcorps. The two closest ones are Keystone and Red Rock., Keystone being closer by about 30-45 minutes I wanted to know about everyone's experience during their stay there regarding dorm/school life, staff treatment, programs/companies recruitment, how strict they are regarding food and security, and if it's just a good campus to go to.
They have the choice of going to San Diego Jobcorps since they're currently closer to that, but if they choose to come with me right after high school, I would like to know which one they'd enjoy and be better off at.
And if anyone has questions regarding my experiences at both campuses, don't be scared to ask.
