Transfer STEM student wondering how location of the science department affects college experience?
Post Body
I was wondering if there are any STEM majors here that find the location of the science department to be a good, or bad thing? I matriculate in the fall from a community college and I want to feel like I'm part of the JMU community. Finding out that the STEM classes are on the other side of the highway really bums me out. Does the sectioning-off from the rest of the college make for a different academic-feel? Or is this a good thing? I'm sure there are pros and cons to either so I want to hear opinions.
