Question about joining Jiu-Jitsu as a hobby while also training/playing my main sport
Post Body

Hi, been lurking this sub for a while and have been a fan of Jiu-Jitsu for a few years now as my love for MMA has increased. I am thinking about joining a gym/class after my university football season is over & am just wondering if the risk of injuries from rolling would be detrimental to my usual off-season training (running, gym, etc). As football is still my #1 priority but I would love to do a couple jiu-Jitsu classes a week and slowly learn. Any comments/tips are appreciated , thanks. (5’9 , 175lbs)
