Some guy came in and said something about this email he got saying if you had two letters from this email in your name you get a free sandwich, something weird like that. My gm thought he was joking so made a joke about it, but he was serious and he was like looking through his email. So one of my drivers who was taking the orders went to go ask the gm, who was now in the back doing shift change, if we had this promotion going on and she was like no. So this guy goes “so are you guys not going to honor it???” So he steps back from the register and looks at his phone for like 5 solid minutes and then is like “thanks guys” and then leaves.
