Hello all, I have a MK5 jetta 2.5l with automatic transmission, and i am planning on replacing my right side engine mount and bolts since I removed the engine mount to do a few things (water pump, etc.) and they are torque to yield bolts and I should have replaced them then, but couldn’t find the exact ones I needed in a store, anyway, every kit ive found on ECStuning/similar places only has kits with 6 bolts (including one m10 bolt with an m6 stud on top), but there are 7 holes total and the bolt that is supposed to be in the place of that bolt with the stud on top from those kits matching my car on those websites, did not have a bolt with a stud on top in my car (to my knowledge that mount has not been removed ever so the bolts should still be factory ones although i do not know why the hardware kits online are not matching up in bolt quantity and appearance).
The bolt that these kits do not seem to have is the M12x1.50 of a shorter but unknown length that goes through the engine mount bracket hole into the engine that is on the bracket by itself towards the rear. I know that towards the front, the two m12 bolts that go through the bracket into the engine are M12x1.50x 70mm. But haven’t found a kit that includes the shorter bolt for the lone hole, nor can I find anything online about the length of the bolt so that I could just buy a bolt separately. Even the VW parts website doesn’t have the bolts showing in the diagram for me to figure it out. Any help would be appreciated (other than anyone telling me that I don’t need to replace them as I have heard from others. They’re torque to yield for a reason and I’ve reused them once and will be removing them again for some work coming up and do not want to try my luck a second time for reusing them).
This might be a long shot but if didn’t know if anyone knew. I ordered a tool for checking metric bolt pitch/diameter/lengths so if I can’t get the info I am going to remove them and check them all and match them up and just go try to buy some that same day, but I’d rather see if anyone knew first).
