Is it important to get all your aftermarket performance parts from one company?
Post Body

Sorry if this is an amateur question but I’m still just dipping my toes into performance mods on my ‘14 Jetta TDI. I was gonna start with a cat-back exhaust, then a tune computer, then a cold air intake. However, I’m noticing a lot of phrases like “rawtek exhaust requires a Malone tune,” or “a cold air intake from Kerma requires a Kerma tune.”

Is it important to get parts from the company you get a tune from if you’re doing a plug in play tune?
