Radio Issues

Just purchased a 2008 Jetta 2.5. When I first start the car, the radio comes on, but no sound comes out of the radio. After running a few mins it suddenly starts working. I’ve searched the internet trying to find the same problem and possible solution and haven’t had much luck. Anyone have the same issues or know what might be causing it?
