So I have a 2013 VW Jetta. I went to pennsylvania from New York(926-9/30), once I got home my brakes were acting very off. I would have my petal down and the car isn’t stopping how it should. Had to pump my brakes a bit. Today (10/1) I took my manifold/engine cover off to check my fluid. First of all there was a mice nest in there 🤦🏼♀️ second of all my brake fluid was definitely overfilled and is this super dirty yellow color. I haven’t added any fluids except oil and antifreeze. I wanted to know if this should be flushed or if there could be something else. I checked my calipers and I see no leaks and if there was holes in the lines I doubt I’d stop at all.
