Seadoo Supercharger Reliability

I'm looking into buying a GTR 230 or a GTX 170 and I have a big concern about supercharger reliability. I always heard that you have to rebuild the supercharger every 100 hours. I'm not sure if this claim is still true. I'm planning to keep the ski for a while and I just want to make sure that the supercharger will hold up over the years.
