So I have a jet ski I got last year. It's only got 158 hours on it. It runs fantastic. There was an issue where the fuel pump wouldn't stop when it was off and was draining the battery but we just had a battery switch installed and that fixed that. Anyways, the guy at my local jet ski shop said I should think about having the supercharger rebuilt. From what I know it's been done once before around 85 hours. Do I need to have it done again? It there a permanent fix for this. I don't know if I can afford to drop a grand every 2 years to keep this thing running or just cut my losses and sell it. Looking for advice. Thank you.
Also, I'm fairly mechanically savvy, is this something I could possibly do myself to save the labor costs. I've seen the kits online.
