I accidentally left a Mido Baroncelli watch with a white dial, gold casing and brown strap in one of the 9th floor bathrooms in 33 Hudson/Liberty Towers (I live in the building and my tower’s water had been turned off, so I was using the public bathroom). No one has turned it in, so I’m assuming it’s been stolen.
On the off chance that whoever took it sees this, that watch has extreme and irreplaceable sentimental value. I will pay $500 to get it back, no questions asked - which is more than you will get trying to flip it with no papers. I can Venmo/paypal or write a check.
Not really sure what else to do besides this.

Then put signs up (after being granted permission) offering more money in reward than can be obtained from selling it, and spell out a process by which the person can return the watch and obtain the reward money with no chance their identity can be found out.
Also, call all the pawn shops you can and other similar places and tell them the info.
