Hey all, I'm very new to making jerky (I've recently bought a dehydrator but haven't used it yet). I found a recipes online that I plan on trying ( https://www.allrecipes.com/recipe/142948/docs-best-beef-jerky/). I just have a few questions
1) It calls for 2 lbs of beef round steak. I accidentally bought 2 lbs of beef BOTTOM round steak and I think a lb of beef round steak. Is there a major different between beef bottom round and beef round?
2) I'm slowly going to start experimenting with other recipes. Can anyone suggest a good hot/spicy jerky recipe? After I try the above recipe a few times, I want to try a hot/spicy one
3) What's the best way to store jerky? I was going to just put them in ziplock bags and maybe in the fridge??
