Flavor permeation problems?
Post Body

So I've been making jerky as an amateur hobby for about a month now and one of the issues I've ran into is a complain from the people I make.the jerky for; flavor permeation.

They say that they like the flavors of my jerkies (I have 2 flavors "original", and "sweet"). The problem is that while they like the flavor, it doesn't last very long, which leads me to believe I may not be marinating long enough, or may need to introduce a brine, which I've had mixed results with, or making an adjustment to the acidity of my marinade somehow.

Is there any advice the jerky masters of this forum can offer?
