Hi. I’m a guitar player and I’ve been playing for many years. I can play pretty much anything in the classic rock genre for the most part and it’s not really challenging for me anymore. I’ll always love it but I’ve been wanting to branch out and learn jazz guitar. I’ve been taking myself through the Hal Leonard jazz guitar book and learning real book songs one at a time with an amazing teacher. I’m a teacher myself but I teach mostly young kids and teenagers but I’m not by any means a jazz expert. However I don’t want to become stagnant I want to keep growing and learning new things. I want to start listening to more and more jazz music to get familiar with it. I looked on Sirius for jazz and there doesn’t seem to be much to pick from or maybe I just don’t know where to find it? I want to start listening to it like I listen to rock to really get a knowledge of it. Any advice as to how to go about it would be appreciated.
