So, I had braces on a long time ago (almost 10 years ago) and when they were taken off it revealed I had an underbite. Which I can tell you I never had one before braces. The orthodonist never said anything about it either which pissed me off. The last few years I've seen a few dentists where they've commented on the underbite, the way I bite down, etc. Now, with a new dentist - she said "it was severe and would continue to cause me gum disease because I can't brush correctly". She was going to contact a othodontist and talk to her about my case. My mom has TMJ and I believe I do too. While also noticing my teeth aren't alligned either. When I sip on a straw, my bottom jaw pushes out. I grinded my teeth before but noticed that I occasionally grind it on the right side now I've provided my photos and was wondering if anyone else had the same issue as me? I assume they'd want to do the surgery? Any tips or advice would be very lovely! I'd like to get the ball rolling if anything needs to be done. I was eating so don't mind my horrible apperance.
