jaw opens slanted when yawning after DJS

hi everyone. i am 5.5 months post op DJS and 3 months post op ORIF (after a plate in my lower jaw became defective). i have been unwired for about 6 weeks now since my most recent procedure. ever since, i’ve noticed that every time i yawn my jaw goes crooked. this only happens when i yawn. when i open my mouth normally like to eat, it opens downward perfectly. is this normal? i’m kinda scared. will ask my surgeon next appointment but thought id ask here to see if anyone else experienced this post op
