Yes, I know this is a question for my surgeon and ortho team. At my last ortho appointment, I saw the wrong orthodontist (mine was out sick) and she had no idea what to do with a surgical patient other than read off my chart notes from my orthodontist.
I've been in braces since March. My teeth were pretty straight to begin with. I went for an adjustment last week and was told my next appointment, they would re-do all the molds to see if I'm ready for surgery. Does this mean I'm probably almost ready? Or do most people have to go through that process and then re-adjust multiple times before surgery?
My surgery is a bit time-sensitive as I'm a teacher and trying to knock this out over winter break. If I can't do it in December, I will have to wait until May because otherwise I can't get the time off work...
