PO Closing Posterior Open Bite
Post Body

PO 5 months, DJS created a posterior open bite, which was planned.

My Ortho has been waiting for the back teeth to spontaneously suprerupt. I told him on my visit yesterday that I was struggling to chew because of my molars not touching. He said he would start pulling them down with bands back there instead of the bands in the front I have been wearing "just for stability."

He put a power chain across the whole top, and then put much stronger bands on the same front teeth. I asked the tech about a dozen times because it sounded like he would put bands on my back teeth, but they didn't do that.

Can you pull posterior teeth down using a power chain and anterior bands?? It really freakin hurts and I worry it's not going to fix my issue.
