Need some help with understanding project structure in java codebase
Post Body

Hey Iā€™m in a situation where I have to work with a huge java codebase with multiple subfolders under the src folder. Me being very new to java(I have some experience working with python, for mostly data science related stuff) and its build tools, Iā€™m having some trouble understanding the purpose of these sub folders. Like they are named as module, controller, handler etc. I think the reason why this is not making sense to me is because when I worked with python I would code in Jupyter notebooks and my code was mostly monolithic I guess. It would be a great help if you can help me make sense of these folder names( is it a java convention of doing things?) do they have specific meaning? and what does module, handler and controller mean exactly? Thanks
