Metal credit cards
Post Body
I have had two occasions now where a retail place would not take my credit card because it is made of metal. I have noticed signs that say “no metal cards”, but since I often have no choice, I use it anyway and it works fine. But when the merchant has to handle the card, they don’t accept it and refuse to insert the chip because the card is metal. I assume this has something to do with their card reader and maybe the thickness of the card? Does anyone have insight on this issue?
