My wife just told me that if you link your My Number card to a cashless service, you will be reimbursed 25% in credit/points on all purchases up to 2man yen.
I've used Line Pay in the past for online shopping but disliked it because it would often not allow me to make certain purchases (Netflix, Spotify, steam, playstation store, etc.).
To the guys who make cashless payments on the regular in this country, what service do you use? How is it? Are there any limitations you've run into?
Amendment: the perks depend on the service you're connecting your My number to. Most of which are about 5000 yen in value.
