Italian grocery in Tokyo?
Post Body

I'm looking for pepperoncinis, the pickled kind. I've tried National, Nissin, Linqos, Seijo Ishii and Daiei. No dice.

Googled and found articles about La Dolce Vita in Kagurazaku. Called and asked if they had any, they didn't. When I very politely inquired if they knew any places in Tokyo that might have them I was told "maybe a department store in Shinjuku".

Amazon.jp has parallel import of 24 jars but that's a bit...much :-).

Now I'm just fascinated. Surely there must be some place in this huge city that has them! Any suggestions? Thanks in advance...
