So….I’m wanting/needing to begin studying Japanese again after a lengthy absence of ‘properly’ studying.
Background: I lived in Japan for 4 years, having studied Japanese at university and school overseas before then. I was using Japanese daily of course in both the office and social life during my work in Japan at around N2 level.
Now: I’m wanting to study Japanese again to improve my ability in business situations - particularly with emails and creating presentations. I’m no longer based in Japan.
At the moment, I’m reading online articles and news items on business/industry specific sites, noting down relevant and new vocab as I go. However, I’m wondering what more I can do without being immersed in a Japanese environment…
Has anyone else been in a similar situation? Or have any suggestions of how to improve/practice more?
