Speaking level after Genko 1&2?

Does anybody know how students finishing Genki II should speak like (average level)? Assuming never lived in Japan or having additional exposure to the language or culture (besides anime/movie/music).
I’m trying to get an idea of what to expect at a higher level Japanese class, as my sources of exposure are vastly different comparably.
Edit: thanks for the responses! I’m not looking for ways to improve my speaking level. Sorry if I weren’t clearer in my post. (And pardon the typo in my title.)
