Would it be easier to learn kanji first?
Post Body

So Iā€™m currently learning Japanese and I started on Duolingo but I stopped Duolingo after awhile because when I was learning Vietnamese on the app as well my Vietnamese friend told me that what I was learning was wrong. Iā€™m also going into high school next year and taking the Japanese class my school offers, would it be easier to learn kanji/written Japanese before spoken Japanese or the other way around?

Also I kind of struggle with written Japanese
